Call MD Plus has my serious attention because I witnessed first hand, through my mother who had type 1 diabetes, what it meant to be an American citizen, in her case, an American Army Officer’s wife, wind beneath his wings, of 19 years- to be left with no health care coverage after a divorce, just one year short of the ‘requirement.’ For her to receive ‘just too much aliMoney’ to be make her just over the poverty line, left her… uninsurable by the state or federal government.

I could go into details and on and on some of the stories growing up with an uninsured type 1 diabetic mother, but I won’t.   I won’t because I have the blessing to have lived with ALOT, and WITHOUT.  I am GRATEFUL to have the compassion and understanding that I do because of this.
